They are translated almost in every language. Many
popular actors tried to sing them after his death
but nobody had such inner energy and passionate
voice, which sounded as the hurt heart if it could
talk. The first plate with songs to the
movie appeared in 1968. V. Vysotsky has written more than 600 songs,
he had over 20 roles in theatre and 30 movie
roles. Every his concert in any part of the
huge Soviet Union had great success. People
recorded tapes with his songs because it was
rather difficult to find them in shops. The
destiny of Vysotsky's roles in movie wasn't
so lucky. Some of the films, where he took
part, came to people only in 19-20 years. He
died in 1980 after the heart attack.
