Oleg
Tabakov was born in Saratov (17.08.1935) in
family of doctors. Thanks to his parents Oleg
early opened the theatre for himself. During
school years he studied at the children studio and
worked at radio. Tabakov graduated from the MXAT
School in Moscow and since that time worked in
several theatres. Sovremennik theatre with O.
Efremov as a director has become the second home
for the actor. O. Tabakov is one of the brightest
stars of the modern Russian movie and theatre. His
works on radio and in many cartoons are also well
known. Everyone recognizes this colorful voice.
Last years Tabakov is known as a talented teacher.
A lot of his students have become famous actors.

in the family concerning the furniture the flat is full of. But the furniture problem is just a
cause. In reality, here collide two different world perceptions and notions of life values…

al. One of the brightest cinematographic works of the period of Khruschyov’s “thaw”. It is a
story about all-forgiving love that helps to go through all the trials: deception, betrayal and
meanness. All this turns out not simpler than to survive after a heavy wounding and in a fascist
captivity.

a high price, i.e. a personal drama and ruin of his illusions for the adherence to his ideals.

Several days of I. I. Oblomov’s
life
Director: N. Mikhalkov. Starring: O. Tabakov, Y. Bogatiryov, A. Popov,
E. Solovey et al. A screen version of the famous novel “Oblomov” written by I. A. Goncharov is a story of an
outstanding man who is wrapped up in the mire of bourgeoisie existence. Love will suddenly awake
in Oblomov the wish to live, feel and suffer but the given burst will die away as quickly as it
appeared…The USA national council of film critics called “Several days…” the best foreign film
in 1981 and 1982.
