Irina Alfiorova was born in a small provincial town  (13.03.1951). She graduated the Lunacharsky Theatre Institute in Moscow in 1972. Since 1976 she is at Lenkom theatre, where alas never had any main role. Her movie works have made Alfiorova name known and loved by millions. "The Road Through the Ordeal" by Alexey Tolstoy novel, where Alfiorova played Dasha, has become the beginning of the long row of films. Her Constantia from "D’Artanian and three musketeers" was the best one and any new version of this famous novel (American, French...) can't replace this light image of true female beauty. Irina Alfiorova was married with Alexander Abdulov and for years this star couple was considered the ideal one. Their work in a film about dramatic love seems a piece of

real life, not a filmed one.

Without apparent causes

Kononov, Evgeny Kindinov, Igor Dmitriev, Georgi Shtil. The year 1921. Three terrible events have
happened in a provincial city. At first sight they do not seem to be interconnected. But
Kamchatov, a Cheka official, is convinced that there are some connections between these murders.
Moreover, as for the last case, the suicide of the young guard was absolutely feigned. The given
conclusions helped Kamchatov to get on the tracks of the White Guard group and render harmless
the band of Mescheryakov.

Ermak

Director: Vladimir Krasnopolsky. Starring: V. Stepanov, Irina Alfiorova, N. Dzhigurda et al. Second half of the 16th century. The time or reign of Ivan the Terrible - one of the most tragic and controversial pages of the Russian history. The époque of violence, cruelty and despotism. The époque of growth and consolidation of the state. The years that put the beginning to the inalienable union of Russia and Siberia. Yermak is a historic figure and a myth. There is a number of legends, tales and songs about Yermak. The Cossack army led by Yermak Timofeyevich carried out an expedition beyond the Urals, which became an actual incorporation of the Siberian lands to the Russian czardom. This is a film about a tragic clash of two worlds: Russian and Turkic, about the drama of native Siberian peoples - Ostyaks and Voguls - who found themselves between two powers - Kuchum, a descendant of Genghis Khan that came from the Central Asia, and Yermak.  The film carefully reconstructs the atmosphere, life and habits of the

epoque:bloody battles, horrors of the torture chambers, and hoodwink assassinations. The film also tells the story of Yermak's love to a mysterious Alena, who became a Kuchum's whore, as well as the story of a burning love of  a careless Cossack Vanka Koltso and a proud Turk Farida. The shootings were made in Siberia, the Urals, and in actual chambers of the Moscow Kremlin. During 9 years of the shootings of "Yermak" its directors had also made three other films; 15 persons out of the crew died at the same time.
