Inna Churikova
was
born in a small town in Bashkiria (05.10.1943).
She graduated from the theatre collage in 1965 and
worked in a children theatre till 1968. Since
1965 year she worked by contracts. Churikova has
found her home theatre in 1975. It's Lenin komsomol
theatre during Soviet time and now it's famous
Lenkom, where Mark Zkharov is the chef
director. Her first work in movie was in
1960, but only since 1971 Churikova has become
popular. "The beginning" and her
character, Pasha Strogonova made her the best
actress of that year.
Later she has got all the possible prizes and
awards. The most part of the films she worked with
her husband,
Gleb Panfilov,
a famous film director. |

Churikova doesn't play her roles, she lives them
over. Her strange look charms better than
any sexy attraction of super stars. Her huge, kind

story about Pasha Stroganova (Inna Churikova), a factory girl living in a very provincial town
Rechinsk. It is about the love that brought her more sorrow than joy, her faith in her actress’
calling and the fortune that has presented her, a performer of the Baba Yaga role at an amateur
theatre, with an opportunity of starring as Jeanne d’Arc – a heroic, whole-hearted and pure
image of the “French lark” in “Greater Cinema”.

Valentina

emerging on the way of their love lead to a dramatic outcome…
