Anyone asked about the names of painters can remember several famous
Italian or French ones. If you aren't from Russia and I try to ask the same question about just Russian painters, so it's hard to get a
prompt answer. Most of people easily find well-known names of writes or composers of classical music, but not artists.
I'd like to show you the brightest persons with their admirable pictures, which have created original face of the Russian art. Be sure, I'm not going to torment you with history of art or long
boring articles. My education doesn't let me speak like expert on such a subject, alas. Perhaps, my taste is far from perfect one. None could make me think that Malevich's Black Square is a masterpiece. When my mood is down, I look for something beautiful and only my
inner feeling rules, helping to choose those images, which touch me. It isn't a secret that the art has mysterious healing power. The art therapy's pages would tell you about such things. Who knows, how many people have found consolation in painting. Sometimes it happen
that nothing works nor piles, neither
injections, but a brush with a box of paints take the pain away. A human soul lives by its own rules. We hardly can know the depth of our heart or inner processes of the
spiritual life. Well, just art helps us to step over that invisible border and peep in that endless
world. More or less everyone painted or drew in childhood. Art works are on the walls in the flats and even on the desktops of our computers. This site wouldn't be complete without the part about Art. OK, let it be ;-)
